About Rejuvenation Coaching

What’s in a name?

The “juve” in rejuvenation comes from the word juvenile — which refers to youth, vigour and freshness. The prefix re, which means “again,” and the “ate” suffix, which stands for “do or make.” Put them all together and you get “make fresh again”.

Our approach is positive, practical and supportive. Personally tailored coaching sessions will help you with finding direction, setting goals, building more inner confidence, refreshing your CV, interview techniques or pitching to employers, as well as helping you gain a deeper understanding of what your work needs to give you for you to feel satisfied and motivated.

If you are looking to make a change but don’t know where to start then a career coach could be just what you need!

A goal without a plan is just a wish

My story

Tanya-head-shot_Jan-2021.jpg

I have lived through career change myself. About 8 years ago due to a health condition I had to step back from working as a successful environmental consultant and re-evaluate what I wanted to do that aligned with my values, life style and health condition. Supporting people to set and achieve goals using tried and tested coaching techniques and therefore enabling people to feel rejuvenated about their work really makes me happy. I am now a trained life coach specialising in all aspects of work. I have been a coach for a number of years now and as well as working in a private capacity through Rejuvenation Coaching I am also a volunteer employment coach at local charity Restore. I have also designed and run employment themed courses for the Oxford Recovery College.

I really enjoy putting my experience of pitching to clients and writing winning bids and proposals to good use - helping people see themselves in a more positive light (yet still authentically) - thus presenting themselves to prospective employers or customers in a way that generates fun, learning and success!

My qualifications:

  • NMH Practitioner Coach Diploma & ILM Practitioner Coach, accredited and endorsed by

    • International Authority for professional Coaching and mentoring

    • The institute of leadership and management approved

    • ICF Continuing Coach Education

  • NMH Foundation in Adolescent Coaching (Accredited and endorsed by International Authority for Prof Coaching and mentoring and The Other Subject school wellbeing alliance).

  • Life Purpose Coach diploma

  • Licenced Business Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming

  • Level 1 Counselling Diploma

  • Post Graduate Diploma the Chartered Institute of Marketing

My values

supporting-you-every-step-of-the-way.jpg

Often, we can find ourselves on a work path that does not, for most of the time, give us joy, energy or motivation. I decided to use the word rejuvenation in the name of this private coaching practice because being rejuvenated feels like being energised, brightened and freshened up with more vitality. I really want to help people feel more satisfied and energised by their work (whether it be paid, voluntary, part time or full time) and if required have a strong sense of direction about the longer-term future.

I also feel that in our society there is a lot of external (and let’s face it internal) pressure about what we believe work should be and what success looks like. I want to help people define for themselves what their work should be, help them to overcome any limiting beliefs and habits and set meaningful goals and actions for the future.

I love constantly learning and being of service within my work. I am deeply curious about each client I work with and set an intention to work with kindness and deep engagement to offer practical, tailored support that helps clients identify and work towards meaningful goals.

I take on a limited number of clients per week so you can be guaranteed to receive my full support and attention.

If you know the ‘why’ the ‘how’ becomes easier

What I can help with

Career transition support

  • Career change. Deciding on change can be a scary process. By working with a career coach you can take it step by step in a supportive and explorative way to help you to eventually make decisions you feel positive about.

  • Confidence boosting exercises. To help you understand the skills, experience and character traits you can offer an employer or bring forward with you into your next steps.

  • Entrepreneurial support. Are you wanting to set up a small or micro business? Do you want to grow or revitalise the one you have? I can support you by asking powerful questions and having focused discussions about what your business is and where you want it to go?

  • Dealing with a specific current work issue. It may be that you are not seeking large changes but there is something going on in your role that you want to talk through and seek new perspectives on. This could be specific in-work issues or wanting to reduce your stress and gain a more satisfying work life balance.

CV’s and Job Applications

  • CV and cover letter help. The CV is the door opener. It needs to sum up the essence of who you are, what you’ve done and what you can offer. With coaching support you can create a well formatted document that you will feel proud of and confident to talk about.

  • Job searching. Are you wanting some support and someone to make you accountable as you take actions to look for a new position? I can help you with all aspects of this from working together to identify how and where to look, helping with written applications, interview preparation and eventually celebrating success with you.

Interview coaching

  • Interview practice – A prospective employer wants to find out 3 things at interview stage. 1. Do you want the job? 2. Can you do the job? and 3. Will you fit in? Our supportive, honest help with presentation skills, interview techniques and getting prepared for interviews will help you communicate this effectively. Rejuvenation Coaching can offer guidance and support for all styles of interviews such as competency and strength questions, values-based questions and showing a growth mindset.
